Motherhood is a life-long career that requires a lot of skills, hard work, commitment, patience and perseverance. Mothers are usually working 24/7 without compensation, without rest days and without benefits but they don’t get tired easily because they do it for love. And if there is one person who deserves a break and a much needed appreciation – it would be the moms.
Now that the Mother’s Day celebration is nearing, it is but right to make every mom special on this day. Carve together with Lifecasting Philippines has organized Mommapalooza 2013 as a treat for moms on Mother’s Day. Mommapalooza will be on May 12, 2013, 6AM at Fuente de Villa Abrille Clubhouse, Tulip Drive, Matina, Davao City. The event will host the first ever Color Run in the country to be participated by a team of two or three (mom and kids) for only Php 200 and Php 50 for the additional kid. The fee already includes a day pass for the kids for the whole day event.
There are a lot of happenings that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Moms can get to enjoy the pampering from the outdoor spa set up, facial cleaning, coffee treats, and shopping galore from the bazaars. Numerous fun-filled activities like Arts and Crafts, Bubble Shows, Swimming are also prepared for the kids and kids at heart. Nannies can also learn a lot from the Yayacademy.
Proceeds from the event will be used to help Teenage Moms from Ezra Renewal Ministries International, Inc. So this is actually an event for a cause and when you join, you will not only get the chance to bond and have fun with your family but you are also giving teenage moms the opportunity to have a better future.
