Rescued By Sun Broadband

I know I have already shared about my worst disconnection experience in this blog and I thought that it was going to be the last time that I would ever experience it; but my patience was again challenged when our internet was disconnected this morning. I was really thinking that because we have settled our bill last week, everything will be just fine.

I have been contemplating about switching to another internet service provider because the customer service of PLDT really sucks! (Sorry for the word). I don't really understand with how they have handled our account. Two months ago, we requested for an upgrade and the customer service told us that it will take effect after the replacement of the modem but until now no replacement came nevertheless we were already billed based on the upgraded amount for two months now! They are so unbelievable.

When I verified about it, I was told that the modem is on its way but they could not explain the reason why we where billed that certain amount for two months. I don't want to lose patience nor stress my self out. Knowing how PLDT works, surely our connection will not take place until next week. Haayy, all I can say is good luck! In challenging times like this, patience is indeed a virtue. LOL
Well, I am keeping my cool because even without the wired PLDT MyDSL connection, SUN Broadband saves my day. I am just so thankful to have a reliable SUN Broadband Prepait Kit. I won this kit in the raffle during the Social Media Day event here in Davao few moths ago. I didn't have the chance to use it until now.

I just hope that I can cope up with my online tasks using Sun Broadband while waiting for our PLDT MyDSL connection.  For now, all I can do is wait. Wish me luck please!

Hi Rovs! Nadadalas ata yung problem mo sa internet connection ah. Buti na lang di ako natuloy mag switch sa PLDT last time. lagi kasi kami inaalok dun dati. Anyway, good to know that u have an alternative naman. Hope ok na yan next week. :)

Oo nga Sis eh... Ang hirap talaga i deal ang PLDT kasi kasalanan pa nila pero yung subscriber ang magsa-suffer...

Hoping talaga na ma okay na ito early next week. May system upgrade daw sila at may holidays pa. Good luck sa akin... Hehehe

oh, sorry about this problem, Rovs, I do understand your word, it really does! I hope this will be resolved soon, and you get reimbursed by PLDT for the service they had failed to serve in the 2 months. good luck. geee. i know what you mean about PLDT, when I was still there, I switched to Globe because their service was so poor.

Tell me about it! I just had my DSL disconnected last month because of the intermittent connection. They were ok the first two years I was with them until 2012 began. I cannot anymore live with having to call every single day. Now, I'm back to Smartbro, which is doing better. I hope it stays that way. :)

Buti sis, my taga rescued kah. ang sa parents ko is Bayan Tel. gamit nila,nasa Gensan kasi sila...and problema lang narinig ko is very slow daw ang connection.

I heard from a friend that Sun Broadband provides a good connection. Iniisip ko kumuha nung postpaid na pwedeng bitbitin kahit saan.

I know what's the meaning of PLDT..Maybe both Betchay and me got the same idea.. :-)I hope the problem with your internet connection will be Ok soon Rov. I'm glad you have the patience to wait and remained calm on a situation like that.

yap, okie talaga ang sun bro, iyan ang gamit ko when i was still in Manila and even at the time nag ttravel ako iloilo, gensan, tacloban and even DAVAO..:)..hindi ko lag alam bakit hindi umaabot dito sa Tuguegarao, di sana kahit on the go ako eh meron pa ring net..

I have been a PLDT user for so many years and I think I am just one of the lucky few who doen't encounter problems like that.But those prepaid kit comes in handy talaga. But when all else fails, you know you can always get connected with our wifi dear:) anong silbi nag pagiging dikit ng bahay natin? hehehe!

I second the motion! Never read as of yet about your worse experience with PLDT Rovz but I can imagine what it's like. I also got disconnected last Thursday and had no connection for almost 48 hours, and that's after paying my bill online. I had to bombard the CSA's with my complaints and all they could say was: "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE". I fu*cked them up upside down.

Parang mas malaking problema nga ang laptop. Mas okay ang desktop PC basta blog hopping. I am planning to get a desktop nga pang blog...

Gusto kong sumabog na this afternoon after knowing na hindi pa validate ang payment ko last week. We were disconnected due to their incompetence!

I can most definitely relate. Having no Internet connection especially during times the Internet is needed most sucks big time. At home, we're using cable Internet and so far, medyo madalang ang down time. Sa Manila, I'm using Globe broadband, so far, once pa lang nagkaroon talaga ng down time, although there are times na intermittent ang connection.

Pldt connection ko. Nasira ang modem tapos ang tagal bago nila napalitan. Sabi nila within 24 hours mapapalitan na naka 2 tawag pa nga kami sa kanila e. Naka deactivate ang aking fb. Nalimutan ko na nga ang password e. hehe! Sige hanapin ko na lang kayo ni KM pag nabuksan ko uli.

Buti naman at may Sun prepaid on the rescue. I want to join this ABH thing but my prob is, may prob na din ung netbook ko. huhu. Hindi ko naman halos magamit itong laptop ni hubby dahil nakaprogram in Chinese. So madalas iPad ang gamit ko. Yun ang prob kasi I can't install the alexa toolbar sa iPad. Hay.

I'm going to save to buy a new laptop.

awwww..hirap nga pag d maayos ang net connection.. kala ko pa naman ok ang pldt pero i heard pangit nga ang customer service nila kaya stick na lang ako kay smart bro ko. I hope maayos na para wala ka ng sakit ng ulo

Parang nabilisan nga ako sa internet connection ng Globe nung nasa Pinas ako. Ngayon mo lang napansin na ikaw lang ang boy dito, Papaleng? Hehe! Nung isang araw ko pa kinukuwento kay Vince na nakikisali ka sa blog hopping ng puro girls. Haha!

OMG ate rovs, I was calling PLDT non stop for almost 2 weeks before they changed our modem. Kinulit ko talaga ang 172, online pldt customer service, and their twitter account until somebody replaced our modem. My gosh, super tagal ng service nila, as in!
